I love working in the area of adoption, and in helping people to form and grow their families. I have worked in this area for many years, and have helped in the placement of newborns through teenagers.

My adoption services include:

Adoption Home Studies, both domestic and international. (Within NY State)

Adoption Post Placement Supervision and Reports

Adoption Counseling, including attachment- focused therapy for adoptive families. I am trained in the use of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, which works with adopted children together with their parents to deepen their bond and work through challenges together. I have also studied the BCLC Model (Beyond Consequences, Logic, and Control). I use EMDR with children and adults to address trauma and attachment issues.
